TYR Grantee Spotlight: The Ohio State University
When Transforming Youth Recovery was founded back in 2012, there were only 34 collegiate recovery programs in the U.S. At that time young people in recovery seeking to continue their education faced a monumental challenge to maintain their hard fought recovery. It was our goal to support those young people by awarding colleges and universities the grants they needed to start and sustain recovery programs on their campus.
We are honored to have been a part of the initial efforts at The Ohio State University. Today, the university serves as a model program in the collegiate recovery field.
